We all have our own experience, background and \u2018DNA\u2019. However, the truth will always remain the same.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Try this quick experiment. If you were told \u201cThere is a God and he loves you\u201d &#8211; what was the first thought that came into your head? Yes &#8211; that very first thought. Remember it. How long have you had it and how was it formed?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Various responses<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A range of responses is listed below.&nbsp; Some of them are too hard to give a sincere reply. Others simply allow the person to carry on doing what they want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How can there be a God when I had to look after my mother for 20 years with multiple sclerosis?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is no God. Science proves it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Religion does more harm than good<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I was Christened as a baby so I\u2019m already saved<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We were devout Christians for many years, but after we got married we couldn\u2019t have children<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>My parents were Sikhs so if I believe that, does that mean they\u2019re going to hell?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I like the idea there\u2019s a God, there must be something but . . .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>My parents were Christians but forced it down my throat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>In reply<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The list could go on, and in fairness, some of them are reasonable objections. However, none of them stops the truth from being true. Many of them simply delay time to think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As said above, how long have you had that \u2018first thought which came into your mind\u2019? And how long will it go on for? But you\u2019d have to be having an exceptionally hard time to be innocent, falsely accused, given a death sentence then publically humiliated and killed in front of a jeering crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And all that time you could have simply walked away.&nbsp; It provides an enormous comfort knowing that the God who made you also cares enough to die for you. The suffering or hurt you may feel is something that he understands and provides a new life with healing from the past.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many people get stuck in a single mindset.
